Don't miss the opportunity to take a guided tour of the world's largest open pit marble quarry at Polycor Georgia Marble Company's Tate operation.  This is the only time of the year the quarries are open to the public!  On your two hour tour, see the Nelson Marble Museum and learn about the multitude of uses for marble and marble by-products.  The tours are $10 per person and are sold on a first come, first-served basis. It is suggested that you make reservations as the tours will sell out.  Call 706-692-5600 to book your tour!
