On Wednesday, August 6, 2008 Foothills IGA Supermarket celebrated its recent renovation/expansion and the addition of Jasper Drug Store at Foothills with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Assisting Jeff and Sandy Downing in the cutting of the ribbon were Jack and Terri Dunn, Owners of Jasper Drugs & Gifts, Steve Hall, President of MDI, David Logue, Retail Counselor MDI, Robert Jones, Pickens County Sole Commissioner, John Weaver, Mayor of City of Jasper, and Charles SCott, General Manager of Foothills IGA.
